28

September 14, 2010

yesterday was my birthday. i am now 28…but  for some reason, turning 27 was scarier that turning 28. i guess i’ve come to terms that i get older each year. weird how that happens.

it was a pretty quiet day, but also pretty relaxing. i ended up just lounging around on the computer and cleaning house…yay. ok, it really wasn’t that bad, it was quite enjoyable. when chris came home (and brought some crab rangoon with him) he made me dinner and we had a little picnic in our backyard. it was a perfect night for a picnic too. thanks mother nature.

my parents bought me an SX-70 polaroid camera, and i couldn’t wait to try it out. this was my first attempt with it.

i figured out that you need to stand completely still until the polaroid has ejected. duh.

our yummy dinner

the best part. delicious crab rangoon…mmmmmmmm

after dinner we walked to our local Target and bought some Ben & Jerry’s and came home to watch some Mad Men.

thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! it was a good one.

You are too cute, I love how much you love vintage-style photos. Glad you had a nice, relaxing day!! Somehow a delicious dinner makes for a great b-day, doesn’t it?? You don’t look a day over 14, by the way, and probably never will. :)
